Dana & Nathan's Wedding
What a beautiful Sunday! The weather forecasters were sure it was going to rain for a whole week leading up to Dana & Nathan's wedding - so much so that the bride & groom had a plan B & C in case of rain. But the ground was dry when we arrived to setup chairs for the ceremony. It didn't rain, and the sun shone through the clouds right before Nathan & Dana were pronounced husband and wife. A beautiful ceremony - where their preacher recited the vows they had written for them to repeat. Cocktail hour was on the patio of The Filter Building, with chex mix brought from the mother of the groom, wine bottles personalized with engagement pictures of the bride & groom, and non-alcoholic beverages provided by Cohost.
Dinner was from The Slow Bone - sliced brisket, smoked turkey, old time sausage, cauliflower & brussels sprouts gratin, brisket beans, jalapeño mac & cheese, house cornbread and horseradish potato salad.
Instead of wedding cake, Dana arranged for us to place individual bundt cakes at each guest's seat. Rentals were from our favorites - Celebration Event Rental. Staffing was from Cohost Event Staffing.
