Good bar service should look effortless.
Of course, there’s a lot happening behind that effortless part.

This month, we gathered a group of some of our strongest Cohost servers for our first Bar Class, giving them the chance to add a new trade to an already solid foundation in hospitality.
We worked through pour counts, wine service, cocktail technique, bar setup and the small details that keep service moving. The kind of things guests may never notice individually, but absolutely feel when they all come together.

From Service to Bar
The best bartenders aren’t just good at making drinks. They know how to read a room, anticipate what’s next, keep things moving and make people feel taken care of.
That part, our team already knows.
Bar Class was about layering in the technical side: building confidence behind the bar, learning the rhythms of drink service and expanding what they can take on at an event.

Our first class included plenty of practice, a few cocktails, a lot of tasting and a room full of people learning something new.
Class dismissed. Bar open.

Planning an event? Let Cohost take care of the bar.
